Before You Start (Super Important)
Check Skin & Hair Tone
- Skin tones: Only for Fitzpatrick Skin Types I–V. Do not use on Type VI (very dark skin).

Hair tones: Works best on dark blonde to black hair.
Not recommended for white, grey, light gold, or red hair.
Do NOT Use If…
- You are pregnant, lactating, or menstruating
- Under 18 years old
- Recently tanned or sunburned
- Taking photosensitive medications (ex: tetracycline, ibuprofen/NSAIDs, Accutane/retinoids)
- Have history of skin cancer / pre-cancerous lesions
Areas to Avoid
Never use on:
- Around eyes/eyebrows
- Nipples/areolas, genital areas, anus
- Scrotum (men)
- Tattoos, warts, dark moles, scars, or very dark pigmented spots
- Over implants/pacemakers/piercings
Prep Your Skin
- Shave the area first (no waxing or depilatory creams).
- Clean & dry skin completely — no oil, deodorant, lotion, or makeup.
- Wipe the flash window + cooling surface with a soft dry cloth before treatment.
Power On
- Plug in the power adapter.
- Press & hold Power Switch for 2 seconds to turn on.
- The LCD will show intensity level and remaining flashes.
First-Time Skin Test (Do This Once)
- Choose a small spot on your arm/leg.
- Set intensity to Level 1.
- Press device flat to skin and flash once.
- Move to a new nearby spot, increase 1 level, and flash again.
- Do not flash the same spot twice.
- Check skin after:
- 30 min (lighter skin)

60 min (darker skin)
If no redness/irritation, that level is safe.
Treatment Mode & Levels
- Levels 1–9. Start low and increase gradually as comfortable.

Change level: short press Power Switch to cycle levels.
Sequence: 1→2→3→…→9→8→…→1
Manual vs Auto Flash
- Manual mode (default): press Flash Button for each pulse.

Auto mode: hold Flash Button 2 seconds → LCD shows “AUTO.”
Device flashes automatically when fully contacting the skin and you glide.
How to Treat
- Wear safety goggles (not included). Look away from the flash.
- Place the device at 90° angle so the window is fully touching the skin.
- Wait for the skin contact symbol to stop blinking (means full contact).
- Flash once (manual) or glide slowly (auto).
- Move to the next spot and repeat.
What you’ll feel: gentle warmth or tingling is normal.
Recommended Schedule
Use consistently for best results:
- Weeks 1–4: 3–4 times/week
- Weeks 5–6: 2–3 times/week
- Weeks 7–8: 2 times/week
- Week 8+: 1–2 times/week as needed
After Use
- Press Power Switch to turn off, then unplug.
- Wipe flash window + cooling surface with a dry soft cloth.
- For stubborn residue: cotton swab + ≥70% alcohol, then dry cloth.
- Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight.
Safety Reminders ⚠️
- Never look directly at the flash window.
- Do not treat sunburned or recently tanned skin.
- Stop immediately if you get large redness, blistering, or burning pain.
- Device may shut off if overheated — let it cool, then restart.
- Do not use near water or in humid areas.
- Do not open or repair the device yourself.
